In our elective seminar courses on the History and Theory of Urban Design, we explore each semester a new topic. In the Autumn semester courses ‘The City Lived’, we focus on the history of urban design with a particular emphasis on the lived experiences in the city. In the Spring semester courses ‘The City Represented’, we focus on the role of representation in the history of urban design. Our upcoming seminar in Autumn 2024 is “The City Lived: ‘Sites-and-Services’”.
